Electrical Technology
Power, Programming, and IT
The vocational education and training programmes’ basic course Power, Programming, and IT leads to training in which students work with technical installations and IT systems. Students will work with power and electronics and learn how to build, maintain, and repair the systems. An important task is to be able to test the various systems and installations. Using sophisticated equipment, students will learn how to identify possible errors.
Students of Electrical Technology will find themselves working both in the private homes of customers and in large businesses.
Grenaa Technical School offers the basic course in Power, Programming, and IT. Students will finish their training at a technical college which offers one of the below areas of specialisation.
Depending on their choice of specialisation, students will go on to work in many different fields. The most common areas of work are lighting in construction and operation of computer, telephone, and surveillance systems.
