School Strategy/Vision in short
Together with the school management and employees, the board has laid down the overall strategy based on our school’s core competencies, i.e. the student’s learning, nationally and internationally.
Internationally it is our vision to create a window to the international world of schools, educators, students and others who may be interested in establishing contact with us.
We are strongly committed to improving education within our schools, and it is our expressed goal to connect our students to the world thereby providing them with global insight, and we are looking for more school partners that share these commitments and who are interested in being involved in innovative and exciting activities to inspire their students.
The partnerships can take different forms - from short-term, project-based partnerships between groups of students, to long-term, ongoing relationships between classes. We are also potentially interested in being involved in projects that involve our teachers in exchanging knowledge and ideas about curriculum, pedagogy, learning styles and assessment strategies.
Until 2012, it is also our school’s vision that Innovation be the leading competency in all of our study programmes and classes. We see Innovation as a means for creative change in learning and pedagogy.
Additionally, we have four main areas of focus:
- Communication strategy
- New possibilities in education
- School environment and learning environments
- Support systems and service
